About the Event

Registration for this event is necessary due to limited numbers of available places.

What animal has the most powerful bite of any living creature? Which animal breathes air, but can stay submerged for hours at a time? The answer is of course the crocodilians. But why would anyone want to work with crocodiles when they can eat you? Why indeed would anyone want to protect such animals?  For these and many other questions Colin Stephenson will give the answers in his fascinating talk which will present crocodiles and alligators in a new light - from the most complex heart around to teaching old crocs new tricks. Join us to dispel some of those myths and if after hearing Colin you are looking for more then not only does he have a new book out, ‘Crocodiles of the World’ but also you can come face to face with these predators at the UK’s only Crocodile Zoo of the same name at Brize Norton.
